The European research institute Eurydice has published the “Organisation of School time in Europe.” Teachers and pupils across Europe can now see the differences between the structure of the school year. The publication contains detailed information for the primary and secondary school of 36 European Countries about the distribution of holidays and the beginning and end of the school year. Furthermore the publication shows local and regional variations which exist in some countries and the variation of the summer holidays.
