EU-OSHA’s campaign toolkit has recently been remodelled for the 2018-19 campaign Healthy Workplaces Manage Dangerous Substances. It is in the form of tested recommendations for education institutions and other organisations, and provides practical advice on how to launch a successful campaign to ensure effective safety and health management. It is simple to use and consists of two components: the first one focusing on how to run a campaign; a section which provides step-by-step explanations to start a campaign and the second component looking at the practical tools and real-life examples which have been used in occupational safety and health campaigning.

On 22 October 2018, EU-OSHA and its partners aim to encourage more active safety management of dangerous substances through their support in the European Week for Safety and Health at Work campaign. This week consists of many events throughout Europe such as conferences, film screening, exhibitions and training sessions.

To celebrate the animated character of EU-OSH, a series of occupational safety and health (OSH) education toolkits has been developed. It aims to provide teachers with health and safety topics for children in primary schools, through the use of fun and innovative activities such as the Napo clips. The informative education toolkits offer possible activities and resources that could be downloaded for teachers and other educational personnel’s to support them in integrating OSH messages into the curriculum. These lessons are flexible and other topics are also incorporated for instance, language learning and personal Health and Social Education (PSHE).
